STEM Counseling
Are you a STEM major or interested in becoming one?
Gavilan College offers two specialized STEM counselors who will ensure the support of achieving your academic goals in your STEM field of study.
Students who utilize our STEM counselors gain the benefit of "being in the know" and are included in email newsletters of internship opportunities, STEM workshops, and conferences and other networking opportunities.
Winter 2026 Counseling
STEM & MESA Counseling will be available from Jan 2, 2026 - January 21, 2026. Drop-ins and appointments are limited. To meet with a STEM Counselor via drop-in, please click on the "Join Waiting Room" button on the left side of the page.
To schedule an appointment, click on a counselor's name below to view appointment availability. Please be aware that STEM Counseling may not always be available to meet in person. Please check your email or phone for updates or requests to change the method of communication.
Spring 2026 Counseling
Spring semester counseling will be available on January 26, 2026 - February 6, 2026 with drop-ins. Spring counseling appointments will be available beginning February 9, 2026.
